Which backdrop should I start with if I have never exhibited? +
A 10ft straight tension fabric wall, a case and two lights. That covers a standard 10x10 booth, survives shipping and looks finished under bad hall lighting. Skip the curved wall and the hanging sign on a first buy. Put your logo and one clear sentence on the wall, then spend the rest on light.
What width fits a 10x10 booth without crowding it? +
Order an 8ft to 10ft wall. A true 10ft frame fills the back wall corner to corner, which looks deliberate but leaves nothing behind the graphic for boxes and coats. Most exhibitors prefer a 10ft wall set slightly forward, or an 8ft wall centred with a narrow storage gap. Do not order 12ft, because drape lines are measured and enforced.
How long does a backdrop take to set up on site? +
Budget forty minutes for your first build and twenty after that. The frame goes together quickly, since most systems are tool-free with numbered or shock-corded poles, but zipping a cover over a 10ft frame is a two-person job if you want the seams straight. Add fifteen minutes for lights or a screen mount.
What artwork do you need from me, and what if I do not have any? +
Send vector or 300 dpi raster at full size with bleed. If your files are messy or you only have a logo, artwork assistance is free: we lay the graphic out on the correct template, flag anything that will crop badly across a seam and send a free 2D mockup before we print. Keep critical text well in from every edge.
How does shipping across Canada work? +
Shipping is free across Canada on these products. Frames and graphics usually travel together in one carton or case, though larger 20ft kits may split across two. Order with a real buffer before your show date, and ship to your office or warehouse rather than the venue, since advance warehouse and marshalling-yard rules vary by hall.
Can I reuse the frame and just reprint the graphic? +
Yes, and that is the main argument for tension fabric over anything printed on a rigid panel. The aluminum frame is the durable half of the purchase and the cover is the consumable. When your tagline changes, order a replacement cover for the same frame. Tell us the exact system and width you own, because frames are not interchangeable even at the same nominal width.
How do I clean the fabric between shows? +
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, no bleach, no fabric softener, and hang it damp. The polyester is dye-sublimation printed, so the colour sits in the fibre rather than on top of it and washing will not lift the ink. Do not tumble dry on heat or iron the printed face. Fold the cover print-side in.
