What comes with a kit, and what do I still have to buy? +
Each product page lists what that specific layout ships with, so read it rather than assuming a standard bundle. What a kit does not decide for you is the furniture: a counter for storage and demos, seating if your conversations run long, and flooring if the hall's concrete is bare. Budget lighting separately, because halls light aisles rather than booths. Email support@backdropsource.ca with your booth number and floor plan.
I book 10 x 10 most of the time but take a 20 x 20 once a year. What should I buy? +
Buy the kit that matches your common booking and treat the large show as a separate problem. A 10 x 10 kit used six times a year earns its cost; a 20 x 20 used once mostly sits in storage. For the big show, add a second smaller kit beside the first or rent the extra walls locally. Tell us both footprints and we will flag which panels serve twice.
Do I need to confirm anything with the show before ordering? +
Yes. Confirm your exact booked dimensions and any height restriction with the organizer before you order, because model numbers here are layouts rather than tiers and a kit cut for a 20ft frontage will not fit a 13ft one. Check the floor plan for pillars, corner sightlines and which sides face traffic, since an island layout works differently from an inline.
How much time should I allow to build a full kit on site? +
For a 10 x 10 layout, two people and roughly an hour with no practice. For 16.4 x 16.4 or 20 x 20, plan on two people for a good part of a morning the first time, half that once the crew knows the sequence. Build the frame and check it stands square before any graphic touches it. Move-in windows are fixed, so book the earliest slot.
We are rebranding. Can we keep the frames and reprint everything? +
That is the normal path with magnetic kits and the cheapest year you will have. The frames stay, every panel lifts off without tools, and a fresh set goes on in the new colours. Send us your model number and the sizes come from the original order. Reprint the whole layout at once, since fabric printed months apart can sit a shade off.
How should artwork be prepared for a multi-panel layout? +
Design it as one wall, then let us handle the split. A photograph or gradient that crosses two panels must be supplied as a single continuous image at full width, not as pre-cut pieces. Keep logos, faces and any text you need read well clear of where panels meet. We assist with the file at no cost and return a free 2D mockup.
How does a kit ship, and can I transport it myself? +
Shipping to you is free across Canada. Once it is yours, a 10 x 10 kit moves in a car or small van. Larger layouts need a cargo van or a freight booking, and the constraint is case length rather than weight. Flying to a show, price checked baggage against shipping the kit ahead to the venue.
How does this collection differ from the broader magnetic displays collection? +
This collection is only complete booths, organized by footprint, for exhibitors who know how much floor they booked and want the walls handled in one order. The wider magnetic displays collection includes these kits plus the individual pieces, such as single stands and partition units, so browse there while the question is still what type of display you need. The magnetic system itself is identical.
