What realistically fits inside a 10x10? +
One back wall, one counter or small table, two chairs if you insist, and your cases tucked behind the graphic. Add a second freestanding item and the space reads as a storeroom. If you need a demo surface and somewhere to talk, put the demo at one side and stand rather than sit, because seated staff look unavailable from the aisle.
Does a corner 10x10 need a different kit? +
Not different hardware, but a different graphic plan. With one side open you gain a second approach angle, and the end of your back wall becomes a face people see before the main panel. Push your logo and one short line toward that open end instead of centring everything. If your floor plan says corner, tell us at the mockup stage.
How far away can someone read my headline? +
Assume a ten to twelve foot aisle and people moving. Letters roughly four to six inches tall read comfortably at that distance; below two inches is decoration rather than communication. Put the headline in the upper third of the wall, above heads, because the lower half is blocked by staff and furniture most of the day. Halls are lit for circulation, so avoid fine reversed type.
How many staff does a 10x10 support? +
Two, working in shifts. Three is possible for a short burst, but the booth reads as crowded and visitors will not push through people to reach a product. Two staff also means one can talk while the other watches the aisle, which is the difference between a busy show and a quiet one. Rotate every couple of hours and take real breaks away from the booth.
What size screen belongs on a 10ft wall? +
A 43 to 50 inch panel is the sweet spot. Larger and your printed message fights for the leftovers. Mount it off-centre so the graphic keeps one clean area for a headline, and set the bottom edge near standing eye height. Where do the cases go once the booth is up? +
Behind the back wall, the quiet advantage of an inline space. Wheeled cases stand upright in the gap between your graphic and the pipe and drape, out of sight and easy to reach. Measure that gap before committing to a deep counter, because it is the only free storage you have. Do not stack boxes at the open corner: that corner is your doorway.
How does a small kit ship, and what do I owe the venue? +
A 10x10 travels as one or two wheeled cases and ships free anywhere in Canada. Send it to your own address to check the print, or straight to the show's advance warehouse where that exists. Moving cases from the dock into your space is drayage, arranged and paid through the show organizer, as are power and rigging. Count your cases at teardown.
When should I step up from a 10x10? +
When you are turning people away, or when your product needs more than a counter. The next decision is shape, not area. Twenty feet of frontage in a 20x10 buys visibility and the widest graphic face. Twenty feet of depth in a 10x20 buys a quieter meeting area at the back. Both are two hundred square feet and solve opposite problems.
How do I get artwork checked before printing? +
Send your logo, copy and any images with your booth number and which sides of the space are open. Artwork assistance is free, and you get a free 2D mockup laid out to the real wall width.
