Will covers fit the barriers my venue or city provides? +

Usually, but check rather than assume, because municipal and rental stock varies and the gap between a snug cover and a loose one is entirely visual. Get hold of one barrier before your order goes in and measure the height, the length and the depth of the frame, then send those numbers with your artwork. How do these behave in wind? +

Fabric covers on a steel barricade are the most wind-tolerant thing on this page, because the weight is the barrier's and the fabric wraps rather than presenting a rigid face. Keep the ties and fasteners pulled up snug, since a loose cover flaps and wears at the fixing points. Free-standing units need more thought: an A-frame is a sail with a hinge, so weight the base.

What happens when the site turns to mud? +

Plan for the bottom edge, because that is where a wet event shows. A crowd churning up grass throws mud onto the lower band of every cover, often within the first hour. Set free-standing frames on the driest line you have rather than in the natural puddle, and keep critical text and pale backgrounds out of the lowest band. Everything here is machine washable.

How long does it take to cover a long perimeter? +

Faster than any other branding of the same size. Two people can fit covers at a good walking pace once the barriers are set, because each one drops over the frame and ties off. The time goes into waiting for the steel to be in final position, and walking the line again to even up heights and pull the slack out. Do not start covering until the layout is final.

How do I wash and dry them? +

Cool water, gentle cycle, mild detergent, no bleach and no fabric softener. Do the dry work first: let caked mud dry completely, then brush and shake it off outdoors, because a mud-loaded cover in a machine mostly redistributes the dirt. Wash a few at a time so the graphics have room to move. Skip the dryer and hang them until bone dry.

Can the same set be reused next season? +

That is the economics of it. Printed fabric covers with no dated information come out again every year, so keep the artwork evergreen: your name and mark rather than a date or a sponsor list. Colour holds because dye-sublimation puts it into the fibre, though a set left in full sun all season softens slightly. Store clean, dry and loosely folded off bare concrete.
