Which arch collection is the right one for me? +

Come here when people have to pass through the structure. Everything here is built around an opening — a welcome arch, a full open entrance, a tunnel — so clear width and headroom matter more than graphic area, and this is the only collection carrying the Tunnel Shaped Fabric Display. How wide does a walkthrough opening need to be? +

Wider than the number in your head. One person moving in one direction is comfortable at a little under a metre of clear width, but nobody moves like that at an event. Two-way traffic, people stopping to photograph the arch, a rolling case, a stroller at a family show — each doubles the practical requirement. If the span is tight, put it where flow is already one-directional.

Will an arch with nothing behind it stay up? +

It will, provided you treat it as a freestanding structure rather than a leaning one. These frames are self-supporting and a properly tensioned skin adds real stiffness, but a walkthrough arch has no wall to fall against, so the feet do all the work. Set them on level floor, weight them where the venue allows, and keep them clear of the walking line.

Can we print the inside as well as the outside? +

Yes, and on a walkthrough structure you should. The interior is the surface people see longest — they are underneath it, looking up, often with a phone out. Outside faces want one shape and a few words; inside faces can carry detail, a hashtag, a sponsor row, a pattern that photographs well overhead. Tell us which faces to treat and both go into the free 2D mockup.

What headroom do I need under the header? +

Start from the tallest person you expect, add for comfort, then check what the header itself consumes — overall height is not usable height, because the printed band across the top takes a slice of it. People duck instinctively under anything that feels low. Measure the room as well: ceiling tiles, sprinkler heads, light bars and beams over a doorway all sit lower than the highest point.

How does a tunnel structure ship, and how big is the case? +

Frames break into sections and travel in cases sized to the longest piece, with fabric folded separately into bags. A tunnel means more sections than an arch, so expect several cases rather than one very long one — easier to carry and easier through a service door. Label them and keep the sequence sheet inside, because a tunnel goes up wrong more easily than a single arch.

Can we brand it for multiple sponsors? +

Comfortably, and it is one of the strongest arguments for a walkthrough structure over a flat backdrop. You have exterior faces, an interior ceiling and two legs, which is enough surface to give a headline partner the overhead band and put smaller logos where they are read at close range. Rank them, and a modular header makes next year's change cheap.

Can we use one outdoors at a race or a festival? +

With caution and honest expectations. These are fabric-skinned frames intended primarily for indoor use, and we do not publish wind ratings, so treat any outdoor placement as a judgement call rather than a specification. If you go ahead, ballast every foot, avoid open ground where wind funnels between buildings, and be ready to take the skin off if conditions turn — a tensioned arch is a sail.
