How many panels do I need for the space I want to close off? +

Measure the opening, then add a panel. Partitions are almost never wrong for being slightly too wide, because you angle the end panel back and the run becomes more stable. Do they need to be fixed to a wall or ceiling? +

No, and that is usually the reason people choose them. Each unit stands on its own feet, so nothing is screwed into drywall, no ceiling track is required, and there is no repair job at takedown. That makes them workable in leased offices, hospitals and venues where fixings are not permitted. Set them on a level floor and keep them clear of doorways.

How quickly can one person put a divider up? +

A two panel screen is a few minutes on your own. Larger runs are faster with a second pair of hands, mostly because holding a five or seven panel frame square while you attach graphics is awkward solo. Can I change what the panels say without buying new hardware? +
