Non-Backlit SEG Trade Show Booth Kits

These are complete non-lit trade show booths on folding frames: the structure stays hinged inside its case, so you unfold it, lock it and skin the SEG panels instead of assembling loose extrusion. There is no wiring stage and nothing to order from an electrical desk, which suits exhibitors who travel often.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does folding mean in practice? +
The frame arrives as sections that stay connected by hinges and travel folded flat in the case. On site you open each section like a concertina, lock it, join sections together and push the silicone bead of each graphic into its channel. What you avoid is the pile of loose extrusion and small fittings. The trade-off is bulk: cases are larger.
Can one person set up a whole booth? +
For the smaller configurations yes, and that is the point of the format. Unfolding and locking a section is a one-person action, and skinning a panel at 6.5ft or 8.2ft can be done alone if you start the bead at the top corners and work down. Wider layouts still want a second pair of hands to keep long runs square.
Which model suits my space? +
Work from the booked footprint and the number of open sides. Each Foldable SEG Exhibition Display model lists its configuration and finished dimensions, so judge from those numbers rather than the product photograph, and confirm your show's back-wall height rule before choosing a tall layout. The layouts differ in how far they wrap, which changes where a counter can sit.
Do I really save money by skipping the lighting? +
You save in four places: the hardware itself, the venue's electrical order, freight weight, and the hour of setup spent connecting and testing lights. For a company doing several regional shows a year, that is often the difference between a bare booth and one with a counter, flooring and a spare graphic. What you give up is colour depth under flat hall lighting.
How should artwork be prepared for a multi-panel unlit booth? +
Design across the whole layout, then split by panel and label each file to its position. With no backlight lifting the image, build contrast in deliberately — deeper backgrounds, clean separation between type and image, no critical detail in pale grey. Send the layered originals with the model number for a free 2D mockup of the assembled booth. Keep logos clear of the silicone edge.
How do I keep the fabric looking new over a season of shows? +
Wash it before it looks dirty rather than after: cold machine wash, mild detergent, hang to dry, no ironing, because the polyester is wrinkle-resistant and returns to flat once it is tensioned in the channel. Between shows, fold each skin along the same lines and bag it away from the folded frame, where a hinge can rub a mark into the print.
What is the shipping and lead time picture? +
Freight to any Canadian address is included. Print sets your date rather than shipping: artwork approval, dye-sublimation printing and packing all come before the kit moves, so start early, and earlier still if the artwork is not finished. Unpack, unfold and skin one panel as a check when it arrives — a problem found at your own address is easy to fix.
How is this different from the backlit SEG lightbox kits? +
The lit kits give you a brighter booth and a longer build. These give you a faster booth and no dependency on power. A lightbox kit is assembled from extrusion, wired, tested and then skinned, and it needs an electrical order at every show. A folding kit comes out of its case, opens, locks and takes graphics, with nothing to plug in.
