Custom Trade Show Counters & Podiums

The counter is the piece exhibitors add last and use most: where the conversation happens, the demo laptop lives and every box and coat ends up hidden. Round, oval, triangle and rectangular fabric counters collapse into a case, with backlit and magnetic options for dim halls and fast graphic changes.

We've ordered from several suppliers — none come close to this level of quality and service. Will 100% reorder.

The free 2D design mockup sold us immediately. Exactly what we saw in the preview was what arrived at our door.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size counter should I choose, and how many do I need? +
Check the height and footprint on the product page, then think in terms of working surface. One counter is enough for a 10ft booth and leaves room for people to stand, while two turns the booth into a corridor. For a 20ft frontage, a counter at each end gives two conversations somewhere to happen. If visitors must sit and sign something, choose desk height.
How long does one take to set up? +
Most of these assemble in ten to fifteen minutes without tools, and one person can do it. The frame opens or clicks together, the printed fabric goes over it, and the top drops on. Backlit models take longer because you are also routing a cable and dealing with the show's power outlet. Set the counter in its final position before you load anything into it.
Can I change the graphic later without replacing the counter? +
Yes, and it is worth planning for at purchase. Fabric wraps and panels are ordered separately from the hardware, so a rebrand is a print order against the counter you already own. The Magnetic Promotional Fabric Counter makes that changeover fastest, since the graphic lifts off and a new one goes on with no tools. Quote the product name and original order reference.
What should the artwork contain, and how do I get it ready? +
Very little. A counter panel is read at walking pace from a few metres away, so it should carry your name, one clear line about what you do, and nothing else fighting for attention. Keep type large and high on the panel, because knees, chairs and bags cover the bottom band. Send your files to support@backdropsource.ca; artwork help and a 2D mockup are free.
What do I need to arrange for a backlit counter? +
Power, and earlier than you think. Backlit units need an outlet at the booth, and electrical service at a venue is ordered through the show, usually with a deadline and a much higher on-site price if you miss it. Check where the drop sits on the floor plan, because a cable run across the booth is tape you have to manage safely.
Which counters suit which events and venues? +
Round and oval units work mid-booth at trade shows and conferences, where a friendly approach from the side matters more than a barrier. Triangles suit tight corner booths. The reception desk fits a staffed entrance, a registration point or a lobby, and the monitor table belongs where a demo needs a screen. Backlit counters earn their place in dim halls, and the polyester is fire-retardant.
How do these travel? +
They collapse, which is the point. Each shape packs into a case one person can move, and the interior of the counter can carry lighter items in transit if the packing instructions allow it. Shipping to you is free across Canada. A counter case counts as freight and gets handled roughly, so keep the case rather than discarding it after the first event.
How do I look after the fabric and the frame? +
Coffee, marker pen and hand cream are the real enemies of a counter graphic, and all three are survivable because the dye-sublimation printed polyester is machine washable. Take the wrap off, wash it cool, hang it to dry, and do not press a hot iron onto the print. For the frame, keep hinges and connectors dry and store the counter assembled if you have room.
How does this collection relate to the booth kits and magnetic ranges? +
Counters are furniture; booth kits are walls. This is where you come once you know what your booth wall is, and the two are almost always bought together, because a wall with no counter looks unfinished and gives your team nowhere to work. If you already own a magnetic booth, the counters here pair with it. If you have not chosen a wall, start there.
