SEG LED Light Box Displays

Every display here is a single freestanding backlit frame — one lit face on its own feet, no booth kit attached. Light pushes through the tensioned SEG fabric from behind, so mid-tones and deep colours hold under flat hall lighting. Widths run from panels to 20ft, single or double-sided, for exhibitors adding one lit face.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a light box worth the extra over an unlit frame? +
For most exhibitors yes, and not for brightness alone. Hall lighting is aimed at aisles, so an unlit graphic loses contrast against everything above it. A lit face holds mid-tones and deep colours where you designed them, and keeps working after the hall dims. The cost is real: the frame, the venue's electrical charge, a heavier case. Photographic artwork and dark backgrounds need the light.
What power do these need at the venue? +
They run from a standard outlet, so what you are really buying is the venue's electrical service. Order it when you book the space, because on-site orders cost more and the drop may not land where you want it. Note which end of the frame the cable exits and whether the feed comes from the floor or ceiling; a cable crossing the booth front ruins good photographs.
Can I print both sides of the frame? +
Yes on the double-sided versions, and it is worth doing wherever traffic reaches the back of the display. Make the two skins deliberately different: the aisle side sells, the reverse can carry a floor plan or a QR code. Check the product page first, since not every profile is built for two faces.
How much time should I book for setup? +
A single frame up to about 10ft wide is a two-person job inside half an hour. Build the perimeter on the floor, connect the LED components as the instructions show, stand the frame on its feet, then feed the graphic. Faces at 16.4ft and 20ft need three people and closer to an hour. Test the light before the graphic goes on.
Does backlit artwork need to be prepared differently? +
It does, and this is where the free 2D mockup earns its keep. Light passing through fabric lifts the whole image, so a file that looks correct on a monitor can print thin once it is lit. Send your working file and we will flag what needs more density — mid-tone skin, pale gradients, large light backgrounds. Keep critical text clear of the silicone edge.
How do I look after the fabric and the LED parts between shows? +
Treat them differently. The graphic is machine-washable polyester: cold wash, no bleach, hang until dry, and it comes back wrinkle-resistant enough to skip ironing. The electrical parts want dry storage and slack coiling, since wrapping a strip tight inside the case is the fastest way to kill it. Keep LED components in their own bag rather than loose with the extrusion.
How does this differ from the SEG Lightbox Display Kit collection? +
Scope. Everything here is one lit frame standing on its own, from a small panel up to a 20ft wall, and you decide what goes beside it. The lightbox kits are complete booths — several lit panels, headers, and on some models counters or shelving — planned as one configuration. Buy here for a single lit face; buy a kit to solve a whole 10ft or 20ft space.
What does delivery look like across Canada? +
Frames ship free to any Canadian address, and the LED components, extrusion and graphic normally travel in the same shipment so nothing arrives half-complete. Leave several days between your delivery date and your first show rather than counting on the tightest estimate. Unpack and test-light the display as soon as it lands, checking the packing list on multi-carton orders.
