How is this different from the Media Wall Add On's collection? +

The overlap is real, and the line is what an item attaches to. Add-Ons are modules that extend a media wall itself: shelf panels, apparel walls, tower showcases built to join a frame you already own. This collection is broader and also holds hardware independent of any wall, from lighting and hard cases to tablet stands and brochure holders.

Will these accessories fit the wall I already own? +

Usually, but confirm rather than assume. Lighting clips, screen supports and shelf brackets are made for specific tube profiles and diameters, and a nominal 10ft frame from one system does not use the same tubing as another. Send us the product name of your wall or a photo of a frame joint. Cases and freestanding items are system-independent.

How much lighting does a 10ft backdrop need? +

Two lights minimum, three if your graphic is dark. Convention halls are lit for aisles and safety rather than for your artwork, so a rich navy on your monitor turns into flat charcoal in the booth. Mount lights at the top of the frame and aim them down across the graphic, spaced so the pools of light overlap in the middle.

Can I mount a TV on my backdrop, and how big? +

You can, on a structure built for it. Exhibition Display Stand with Shelving & TV Mount and L-Shaped Exhibition Arch with TV Support exist because a screen hung off an unsupported fabric frame is a bad idea. Check the screen weight and size the mount accepts, keep the screen at standing eye level, and plan a power drop beneath it.

Which case do I need? +

Match the case to your kit, not to your booth. Plastic Hard Carry Case - Holds 10ft Kits covers a standard 10ft wall with its graphic; step up to Oval Hard Carry Case - Holds 20ft Kits for two frames or a wide span. Podium Hard Case suits a counter and small items. Pay for wheels if you will cross a marshalling yard.

Is a hard case worth it if I only exhibit once or twice a year? +

Yes, and low frequency is actually the stronger argument. A kit that ships twice a year spends eleven months in a storage room where things get stacked on it, and the carton it arrived in will not survive that treatment. The case determines whether your graphic still looks new at show three. If budget is tight, buy the version without wheels.

Do I need to arrange power for lighting and screens? +

Yes, and you order it from the show rather than from us. Electrical service in a convention hall is bought through the exhibitor kit, usually at a lower rate if you book by the advance deadline. Work out your total draw before ordering and take a single drop with a power bar. Ask for the drop at the back of the booth.

Should I order accessories with my wall or later? +

Together, for two reasons. Compatibility gets checked once, by us, against the frame in the same order, with no photos of tubing and no guessing at diameters. And one consolidated shipment is far simpler to track than three arriving separately. Freight is free across Canada either way, so order about three weeks out and send your wall details to support@backdropsource.ca for a check.
