How much floor space does a photo booth setup actually need? +

More than the structure's own footprint, and the difference is where plans fail. An open curved wall needs its own width plus two to three metres in front for the photographer or operator. A 360 rig needs all of that plus swing clearance for the arm, so a genuinely clear circle with nobody standing in it. Enclosed formats want a metre behind them too. Mark the circle first.

What makes a booth wall photograph well rather than just look nice? +

Separation and restraint. Get guests a metre off the surface so the wall goes slightly soft behind them and their shadow does not land on the print. Then resist filling every centimetre — the area directly behind heads should be the calmest part of the design. Watch contrast: a very dark graphic makes phone cameras blow out faces, and a very bright one does the reverse.

Can we run one outdoors, at a patio event or under a marquee? +

Under cover, yes, and with attention. These are fabric-skinned structures intended for indoor use, we publish no wind ratings, and an enclosure with three closed sides behaves like a sail, so it needs ballast on every foot and somebody watching it. Direct sun gives squinting guests and heavy contrast, so face the opening away from it. Under a marquee, humidity relaxes fabric, so re-tension partway through.

How long does one take to set up, and does it need a technician? +

Two people, roughly forty-five to ninety minutes depending on how enclosed it is, and no technician for the structure itself. Most assemble tool-free with numbered frame sections, then the printed skin goes on and zips closed. What eats the clock is everything that is not the booth: power, lights, and testing the camera against the real background. Budget an hour beyond the build.

Do these survive being used every weekend? +

They are built to be reused, which is the usual reason a rental operator buys one rather than making something. Frames are aluminum and the skins are machine-washable, so the wear pattern is predictable: zips and feet first, print last. Wash cold, never tumble dry, and get the skin back on the frame while slightly damp so creases pull out on their own.

Can you match our brand colours across several booths? +

Yes, and it is worth agreeing formally rather than eyeballing. Give us hex or CMYK values and tell us which colour is the brand-critical one, then check it on the free 2D mockup before anything prints. If several structures will stand together at one activation, say so at the quote stage, because printing them together keeps them consistent. Venue lighting will still shift things.

Will it fit in a car, or do I need a van? +

Depends entirely on the format. A curved open wall or a spiral packs down to a case and a fabric bag that a hatchback with folded seats will take. Full enclosures and 360 structures have more frame sections and more skin, so they arrive as multiple cases and are realistically a van or a large SUV, particularly with lighting aboard. Measure your cargo floor against the longest case.

What about lights and cables inside an enclosure? +

Plan them before you choose the structure rather than after. An enclosure gives a controlled background and takes away easy access, so decide where the light stands live, where the cable exits and how a guest walks in without stepping over it.
